After all, the skills you acquire on the degree programmes on offer are required in a number of professional fields. Examples include extracurricular education, media, culture and human resources.
At the University of Wuppertal, you can study Protestant Theology as part of various teacher training programmes: In the first study phase, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Primary School, the B.Ed. Special Educational Support and the combinatorial Bachelor for the other school types are offered. In the Master's degree programme phase, you can choose between the following Master of Education degrees: Teaching at primary schools, at Hauptschulen, Realschulen, secondary schools and comprehensive schools, at grammar schools, at vocational colleges and in the field of special educational support.
In addition, Protestant Theology can also be combined with the degree programmes in Editing and Documentary Studies (EDW) and General and Comparative Literature (AVL). The study of EDW and AVL can be continued with a single Master's programme. Individual courses in Protestant Theology can also be taken as part of different degree programmes, for example in the compulsory elective area.
A particular focus in research and teaching is the use of media, especially from a historical, ethical, aesthetic and pedagogical perspective.
